Sarah Plumer

The 2nd Sacral Chakra located in the lower abdomen, belly and inner pelvis and spleen, between the root and solar plexus chakras. It is the dwelling place of the self. It allows us to explore passion and sensuality and express our desires. It embodies our connection to emotions, pleasure, creativity, and intimacy. It affects the reproductive organs and digestive tract. Getting into self flow again is the key

NOTE: Chocolate - is a natural stress reliever and considered to be one of the foods that stimulate the sacral chakra. Boosting feelings of pleasure. So instead of reaching for the chocolate get creative or connect with a loved one, get intimate, or manifest instead! This chakra is about controlling your destiny and feeling powerful.

1. Recognising Blockages and Key Contributors: Moving up the energy centres, we arrive at the Sacral Chakra, located in the lower abdomen. Signs of blockages include emotional instability, lack of creativity, and issues with intimacy. Guilt, shame, or unresolved emotional trauma can contribute to imbalances.

2. Physical Systems and Body Pain: A blocked Sacral Chakra may manifest as lower abdominal pain, reproductive system issues, or urinary problems. The endocrine system, especially the gonads, is closely connected to this chakra.

3. Spiritual Connection: The Sacral Chakra is the center of creativity, sensuality, and passion. When balanced, it allows for the free flow of emotions and creative energy, enhancing our spiritual connection to the world around us.

4. Steps to Heal the Blockage:

  • Creative expression through art, dance, or writing.
  • Emotional release through practices like self-reflection journaling or therapy.
  • Forgiveness and letting go of guilt or shame associated with past experiences.
